Applying for Professional Registration



Thank you for your interest in registering with the Health Practice Associates Council. This is an important step in your career as a health care professional, by submitting to regulation by the HPAC, abiding by our code of conduct and maintaining your registration.

There are two ways of paying for your registration:

Self Funded
Employer Funded

£79.50 per year
You will need a sponsor code from your employer


You will also need to supply a DBS certificate that is on the update service (you must supply a sharp, clear, full-colour image of the physical certificate issued to you by the Disclosure and Barring Service - screenshots of update service results or pdf text certificates are not acceptable). If you do not have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the update service, the HPAC will run a check directly after your application is received.

Once registered you can make use of the HPAC branding, the toolkit along with terms of use guidance is available under additional resources on the home page. Once registered you will be able to link your profile to employers who are already making use of the HPAC portal and start uploading your documents. You will always be able to download all the evidence you add to your profile with one simple click.
